Are signatures from BizESign legally binding?
BizESign captures signer consent, timestamps, and IP addresses to build a defensible audit trail that follows common e-signature standards, and every completed document ships with a tamper-evident Certificate of Completion. For advice on legal enforceability in your specific situation, consult a lawyer — we provide the tool, not legal advice.
How does the pricing work — is there a subscription?
No subscription, ever. You buy a set number of documents up front and use them when you need to: Bronze is $5 for 1 document, Silver is $29 for 10, Gold is $99 for 50, and Platinum is $299 for 500. It is a one-time payment each time — nothing auto-renews and nothing quietly bills you every month.
What counts as one document, and when is it used up?
One document is one thing you send out to be signed — no matter how many signers or fields it has. A document only counts against your balance when you actually send it, so uploading, placing fields, or previewing costs nothing. If you buy more than one plan, the documents simply stack on top of each other.
Do my documents expire?
Your document balance does not expire on Silver and Gold — buy them now, use them whenever. Bronze is meant for a single job, so it should be used within 30 days of purchase, and Platinum’s 500 documents run over a 3-year window. Separately, every completed document is stored for 7 years on all plans so your records are there when you need them.
Can other people sign without an account?
Yes. You send signers a secure email link and they can review and sign in their browser. They verify their email before signing, which strengthens the identity record on the signature — and it never counts against your document balance to receive or sign someone else’s document.
Who can see my documents?
Your documents are private and scoped to your account — only you and the people you invite can access them. We do not look at your files unless you specifically ask us to for support.
